Required Documents for Application

To complete an application to Al-Mustafa International University (South Africa), applicants are required to submit the following documents. All documents must be clear, legible, and certified where applicable.

General Requirements (All Applicants)

  • Completed Online Application Form

  • Certified copy of a Valid Identity Document or Passport

  • Recent Passport-size Photograph

  • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) or résumé

  • Personal Statement / Motivation Letter outlining academic goals and reasons for applying

  • Proof of language proficiency, where applicable

Undergraduate Programme Requirements

Applicants applying for Bachelor’s degrees in Humanities, Islamic Studies, or Social Sciences must submit:

  • Certified copy of National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent school-leaving qualification

  • Certified copy of Academic Transcripts or Statement of Results

  • School completion certificate or equivalent international qualification

  • Any additional supporting documents requested by the Admissions Office

Postgraduate Programme Requirements

Applicants applying for Honours, Master’s, or PhD programmes (studying in Iran) must submit:

Honours Degree Applicants

  • Certified copy of an Undergraduate Degree Certificate

  • Certified Academic Transcripts

  • Research interest statement (where applicable)

Master’s Degree Applicants

  • Certified copies of Undergraduate and Honours Degree Certificates

  • Full Academic Transcripts

  • Detailed Research Proposal (if required by the programme)

  • Two Academic Recommendation Letters

PhD Programme Applicants

  • Certified copies of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Certificates

  • Full Academic Transcripts

  • Comprehensive Research Proposal

  • Two to three Academic Recommendation Letters

  • Evidence of prior research or publications (where available)

Additional Documents (If Applicable)

  • Proof of residency or study permit (international students)

  • Medical clearance (for study abroad programmes)

  • Police clearance certificate

  • Any other documents required by partner institutions in Iran
