Commemoration and Laylatul Qadr Program at Al-Mustafa International University of South Africa
Al-Mustafa International University of South Africa (MIU_SA) hosted a meaningful and spiritually uplifting gathering yesterday that brought together students, staff, and members of the community. The event combined two significant occasions: the commemoration of the demise of the esteemed scholar and leader, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, and the observance of the first night of Laylatul Qadr.
Preparations for the program reflected the spirit of unity and dedication within the MIU_SA community. Students and staff worked hand in hand from early in the day to ensure the success of the event. Members of the university community assisted in preparing meals, arranging the hall, and setting up the venue to warmly welcome guests. Their collective efforts created a well-organized and hospitable environment for all attendees.
The commemoration segment began with a well-coordinated program led by an engaging Master of Ceremonies who guided the audience through the evening. Several speakers delivered heartfelt reflections on the life, leadership, and legacy of Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei. They spoke about his influence, his contributions to the Muslim world, and the inspiration he provided to many people through his teachings and example.
One of the most touching elements of the event was the Book of Condolences. Attendees were given the opportunity to write personal messages, prayers, or reflections to express their thoughts and feelings. This allowed members of the university community and guests alike to share their sentiments and collectively honor the memory of the late leader.
The program also featured the singing of revolutionary and inspirational songs, which added a sense of unity and emotion to the commemoration.
